Photo A Day 2011

Picking my favourite photos for 2011 was really hard. It was such an amazing year and I loved where we lived that year ❤️. What amazing memories.

Work Of Art

I can’t say that this is my favourite topic.  I appreciate art, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  So for my post I’ll start of with a photo of one of the shuttlecocks at the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City.   Personally I don’t think you can find more…

On Top

This week’s photo challenge of ‘On Top’ make me think of mountains.  All these photos were taken on top of Dartmoor in Devon.

Threshold

This week photo challenge is threshold.  Every time I go for my weekend walk I walk through here.

Street Life

Amsterdam, one of my favourite cities!  One day I would love to live there.

Reflection

This week’s reflection photos. This morning I went on my Saturday walk with my son, and only after I took the photo of ‘spring’ did I notice the reflection of the bridge at the bottom of the photo.  It jus shows how your brain filter out everything you don’t want to see or only focus…

Perspective

‘Perspective’ photo for the week. When we lived in Kansas we had a lake in our back garden and it was the perfect place for taking photos all year round.  Here are some during winter.

Abandoned

I was wondering what photo to use for this week’s photo challenge. Then I remember this photo I took of a  burned out abandoned car on a lovely walk at Avon Dam in Devon.  Not something you expect to find on a nature walk in the middle of Dartmoor.
